Follow the instructions given below to share your USB printer through a Windows computer:

Tap on the Windows Start button and go to the Settings.
Then navigate to Control Panel and then to the printer. You need to right click on the printer to be shared.
Select the Change Sharing option. Then follow the prompts to allow the sharing.
Check the column next to Share this printer option.
You will need to enter a share name for the printer. This name is something that other users will see when searching for printers.
If you find other computers on the network with the older Window operating system, you will have to select the Additional Drivers option.
Follow the prompts for installing drivers to these computers. Note: This is going to save your time since the drivers don’t have to rely on the other computers to be downloaded and installed separately.
Now you need to Right click on the Add Printer option then select network printer.
Permit Windows to search the network for the printers.
If you don’t find the printer, select the Printer I want is not listed option.
Then go to Browse for printers and find the computer that is attached to your USB printer.
Tap the Plus sign to expand it, and then you can select the printer.

Steps for sharing your USB printer through a USB server

Follow the instructions given below to share your USB printer through a Windows computer:

First of all, before purchasing, you need to ensure that the system requirements for the USB server are compatible with the operating system of the all computers on the network and with the USB printer.
Now you need to place a server near a network wall jack.
You will have to follow the proper order for plugging in power, network and the USB connections by reading the directions for the USB server.
Go to the printer’s folder then right click on the Add Printer option.
Now select the Network Printer option.
If you are not able to find the printer, then you need to allow Windows to search for the printers by selecting The Printer I Want Isn’t Listed option.
Then select the Browse for Printers option and find the USB server that is attached to your USB printer.
Tap the Plus sign to expand it, you will need to select the printer, and then just follow the prompts to install the printer.
